At Wellandsport, Ont., on the 5th, Messrs. Suterland & Robinson launched a new barge 123 ft. 6 inches over all, 25 ft. 4 inches wide, and 9 ft. 3 inches depth of hold, capable of carrying 18,000 bushels grain, and adapted for either lake or canal. She was named ELIZABETH, has a schooner bow, and is owned by Calvin Brown.
