June 13, 1960 - The excursion steamer CANADIANA, seized for non-payment of a mortgagees was sold at auction today to the bank that held the mortgage. It was the second auction for the hard-luck CANADIANA as she was sold at the order of a Federal Court in the Fall of 1958 to settle her crew’s claims of back wages after she hit a swing bridge in the Maumee River.

November 23 - The CANADIANA is purchased from the Toledo Lucas County Bank by the newly formed Pleasurama Excursion Line of Cleveland. The bank had acquired the ship June 13 after foreclosing on a $30,000 mortgage.
