A new tug 70 x 16 x 7 1/2 was launched at Wheeler's Shipyard, on Saginaw River, last week. She is named the W.S. CARKIN, has an 18 x 20 inch cylinder, and a 6 ft. 4 inch wheel, will cost about $12,000, and sailed by Capt. Foster. - Detroit Post.
