Mr. Geo. R. Hand, B. Hammond, and C.W. Jones have recently purchased of Mr. D.P. Dye the tug HI SMITH. The tug was built by Carroll Bros., of this city, and has been in the service of the Seneca Lake Navigation Co. on Seneca Lake. It is a much needed acquisition to our fleet of harbor tugs. It is about the size of the JONES, with cylinders 16 x 16.
