The new prop. DEPERE, built for the Goodrich line, was launched at Manitowoc on Tuesday of last week, and the next day towed to Chicago for her machinery. Her dimensions are: Length over all, 170 ft.; breadth of beam, 34 ft.; depth of hold, 11 ft. Intended for the Chicago and Green Bay line, the DEPERE will be well adapted for the route, not being too large. Her cost when ready for seas will be $80,000.
