A new large barge built at Ballentines shipyard in Bay City the past winter was sold a day or 2 since to O.L. Nims of Buffalo, the price paid being $66,000. She will be ready for sea on or before June 1. She will have 3 masts and will carry, it is stated 70,000 bushels of corn or 1,000,000 ft. of lumber - Detroit Free Press
