      A new barge named the JOE E. SPARROW, was launched from the yard at Banks a day since. The dimesnions of the SPARROW are as follows: Length 137 ft., breadth 28 ft., depth of hold 8 ft., with a registered tonnage of 268.2 tons. - Saginaw Courier

      The new barge JOSEPH SPARROW has been sold by Ballentine & Co. to Paul Marlatt of Bay City for $7,500.
