The three-masted schonner QUEEN CITY was launched at East Saginaw last week. She rates 700 tons and was built for John Kelderhouse of Buffalo.

At East Saginaw on Thursday, the new schr. QUEEN CITY was launched. She belonged to Mr. Kilderhouse of Buffalo. The official measurements of the QUEEN CITY is as follows: Length, 183 ft. 8 inches; breadth 36 ft. 4 inches; depth, 13 ft. 2 inches; tonnage 700.35. She is built for the iron ore and grain trade, and has a capacity of 50,000 bu. He cost when completed will be about $60,000. She is a 3-masted schooner. This is the 3rd vessel launched for Mr. Kelderhouse from this yard this year, and Mr. Dixon, proposes to commence immediately the construction of another one for the same party, 10 ft. longer than the QUEEN CITY.

The schr. QUEEN CITY, recently built at East Saginaw, cleared from Bay City on Monday with 600,000 ft. lumber. The new barge McDONALD, recently launched at Ballentine yard, also cleared on her maiden voyage the same day, having 521,000 ft. lumber.

The new schr. QUEEN CITY, built at Bay City for John Kelderhouse, of this city, was brought to this port last week for her outfit. She was towed down with a load of lumber on board. Messrs. Austin & Sparks will furnish the outfit, and she will be ready for service next week, in case freight rates advance; otherwise she will be tied up until next season.
