The Steam-Boat Walk-in-the-Water arrived here last Tuesday morning, and departed on the following morning for Mackinac, having about sixty passengers, and a full freight of goods belonging to the American Fur Company. Among the passengers were Gen. Brown and suit[e], Cols. Smith and Jones, several navy and army officers, and many respectable citizens from different parts of the United States. She is expected to return in about eight days.
