On Wednesday another schooner was launched from the Drydock Co.'s shipyard. She was named the ANDREW JACKSON. She is 131 ft. in length over all; 26 ft. beam; 8 ft. 10 inches hold, and has a capacity for 130,000 ft. lumber. She is owned 1/2 by the Drydock Co. and 1/2 by Capt. Wm. Burk, who will sail her.
