The fine new propeller QUEBEC, built by Messrs. Chisholm and Simpson of Chatham for the Beatty Line and designed to run between Sarnia and Duluth is to be launched at Chatham on Wednesday afternoon at 4 o'clock.

Last Tuesday the new prop. QUEBEC recently launched at Chatham, arrived at this port and went into the upper dry dock for the purpose of receiving a new shoe and other improvements, and yesterday forenoon she came out ready for service. The QUEBEC looks very like the ocean build of vessels and is of the followiing dimensions: Length over all, 200 ft.; beam 35 ft. 2 inches; depth, 14 ft. Her engines and boilers are first class and have thus far given entire satisfaction. Evidence has already been given that the QUEBEC will prove a fast traveler. She has large stowage, while her accommodations for passengers are all that could be desired. She will not doubt prove a valuable acquisition to Beatty & Co.'s already popular line plying between Sarnia and Lake Superior.
