The Maritime History of the Great Lakes
George King (Propeller), 2 May 1874

Description
Full Text

The new stmb. GEORGE KING, which was built and launched a short time since at Marine City, has among other improvements a new style of arches. They are united with the rail on either side and form a part of the same, and do not interfere with any space required for other purposes on board the steamer. The expense of their construction is much less than the old plan.
