      The Montreal Towing Assoc. have purchased the well known tug FRANK PEREW, from the Maytham Bros. of this city. The consideration was $10,000. Hereafter the PEREW will tow grain barges between Montreal and Kingston. The captain and crew go with her. She was built for Maytham Bros. by Messrs. Mills & Walsh in 1867. Her machinery was furnished by Farrar & Treft. This is the second tug that the Maythams have disposed of within a few days.
