      The ferry stm. W.A. THOMSON in attempting to cross the river about 7:30 this morning, was swept down by the relentless wind and current, almost to the International Bridge. After nearly 2 hours of hard work, the THOMSON finally reached her dock again at the foot of Ferry St.
