The prop. ST. LOUIS, of the Union Steamboat Co.'s line, which has run for several years in Lake Superior and Buffalo trade, is to have an extensive overhauling during the coming winter, at the Union Shipyards in this city. Her owners contemplate putting in new arches, building a new promenade deck, and substituting new timbers for old wherever there are any signs of rotteness. The vessel is to be fitted up in first class style for Lake Superior trade, and will no doubt become a very popular passenger boat. She is at present laid up here, the ATLANTIC having taken her place.
