The new propeller to be launched at Saugatuck today will be christened R.C. BRITTAIN in honor of it's owners.
      Chicago Inter-Ocean
      June 6, 1877

     
launch. -- Saugatuck, June 7. -- The propeller built here last winter was successfullu launched this afternoon. As she slid gracefully into the water the name R.C. BRITTAIN was pronounced, which was received with deafening cheers.
