BIG STEEL STEAMER REES LAUNCHED.
      Cleveland, Dec. 24. - The steel steamer W.D. REES, built for the Wilson Transit Company, was successfully launched at the yard of the Cleveland Ship Building Company yesterday. The REES, which is the largest vessel ever launched at a local yard, will be completed and ready for business at the opening of navigation next spring. She is a freighter and will carry ore, grain, and coal between Lake Superior and Lake Erie ports. The new boat is 412 feet long overall, 45 feet beam and 28 feet deep.
