NEW STEAMER FOR THE NIAGARA.
      Detroit, Dec. 28. -- E.C. Maytham of Buffalo has purchased the steamer HOPE, the oldest and smallest of the Detroit and Windsor ferry boats. She is to run on the Niagara River in connection with the new electric railroad, and will be operated by the International Ferry Company. The HOPE was built about 25 years ago.
