There is much talk among Cheboygan longshoremen as to the condition of the boiler of the RHODA STEWART. Some of then say that the engineer told the captain that the boiler was in bad shape and would not stand the pressure required of it. It is said that the engineer's remarks was overheard by a 'longshoreman,' and that he spread the report among the other men.
