Description

QUICK TRIP. - The Steam Ship THOMAS JEFFERSON, returned to this port on Thursday past from a trip to Chicago, having been out five hours less than ten days, including all stoppages. A few years ago a trip from Buffalo to Detroit and back in the same time would have been considered a miricle, the improvements of the age are rapidly annihilating both time and space.
