Description
Full Text

The new steamboat now building upon the stocks, by our enterprising fellow townsman D. Ottinger, and others, is a specimen of accomplished workmanship, in regard to strength and speed. Her burden is, we understand, about six hundred tons, and from the shape of her hull and prow, we should think that when completed, she must bid fair to eclipse, by far, every thing now upon the lakes. No one can look at the hull now nearly completed, and not admire the immense strength with which she is studded and braced from every quarter.
