LAUNCH -- Capt. Douglass' new brig VIRGINIA, will be launched this day at two o'clock, P. M.
      Erie Observer
      Saturday, August 12, 1837

      The Brig VIRGINIA, of 150 tons, was launched on Saturday last. This vessel is neatly and substantially built. She is to be commanded by Captain Douglass, and will be got ready for sailing without delay.
