A substantial new steamboat of 115 tons is now taking in her machinery at the foot of Main St., which is intended, when finished, to ply between Black Rock and Waterloo. This will give facilities to the traveling community, and greatly increase the travel to the Falls.
      Tn the various routes and modes of conveyance to this charming resort, there is none that can compare with the ride along the margin of the noble Niagara, but the difficulty in crossing the river with vehicles, has destroyed many from taking that route. This will no longer be the case when the new boat is finished, which will be by the first proximo.
      While upon this subject, we would suggest to the directors the proprieiy of modifying the rates of ferriage to a scale less.
