On Saturday last the new steamer PHOENIX built by Messrs. Macpherson & Crane to ply between Bytown and Grenville, was launched from the building yard in Hull --- Bytown Packet.

Steam paddle wheel PHOENIX. Built Hull, Quebec 1849. Of about 204 tons gross 167 x 24 x 8. Rebuilt barge 1866.
