The largest vessel on the lake was launched from the ship yard of Quayle & Sons in Cleveland on Thursday. She was built for the Western Transportation Company, and measures 275' x 42' x 16'. She is named the COMMODORE.

      Steam screw COMMODORE. U. S. No. 125452. Of 2,082 tons gross; 1,927 tons net. Built Cleveland, Ohio, 1875. Home port, Buffalo, N.Y. 265.4 x 42.2 x 15.4 Freight service. Crew of 20. Of 700 indicated horsepower.
