The schr. CORSICAN is at the Union Drydock Co.'s yard for repairs to her center board. At the same place the schr. E.M. DAVIDSON is receiveing new decks and new deck beams, and is also being thoroughly reclked; and the prop. MOHAWK which was formerly the property of the Western Transportation Co., is being converted into a tow barge for Mr. Duncan, owner of the stmb. OLEAN.

Capt. C.H. Lane and others of East Saginaw, have purchased of the Western Transportation Company the old time propeller CHICAGO, and also the once famous MOHAWK, for $8,000. The latter will be converted into a lumber barge, while her boiler will be put into the CHICAGO, which in turn will be cut down to the dimensions of a steam barge.
