Our readers were given on Saturday last a full descriptive account of the handsome new club-house at Falconwood on Niagara River, and we also took occasion to state that the formal opening of the new house would be on Thursday (tomorrow) evening. A large number of invitations have been issued, and the "opening" will be a brilliant social event. It is stated that Mr. S.S. Jewett has placed his large stmy. TITANIA at the service of the committee, if needed. Mr. George Howard previously tendered the use of his yacht the ORIZABA, and the club yacht FALCON will also be used. The first trip down will be at 5:00, from the foot of Main St. (weather permitting), touching at Black Rock, and from the latter point half an hour later, and every half hourt after that as long as guests arrive. Guests can return from Falconwood at 8,9, 10 or 11:00 and perhaps later. There will be music and dancing, and a "general good time."
