The fish tug FROST was built in Erie in 1908. In 1930 it was purchased by Oreste Borio and it fished out of here for many years Ona Mulkin was the captain and later became a partner in the ownership of the tug. In the spring of 1936 the FROST sank at the Central Avenue pier It became frozen solid in the ice and the spring melt came but the tug was still locked in the ice. The water rose and entered the hull and it sank. Later it was raised and scrapped. L.V.
