CLEAVELAND, Augst 15.

Afflicting Dispensation.--Lost, from on board the Steam-Boat Superior, Capt. Rogers, from Buffalo for Detroit, on Tuesday last, at half past 3 o'clock, P.M. off Dunkirk, Mr. Thomas Thomas, Esq. late a resident of Windsor, Vermont, on his way from Windsor, with his father and mother and brother, to this place.--Herald.
