Port Huron, June 19. -- The tug J.L. BECKWITH arrived here from Buffalo yesterday, where she will be rebuilt into a ferry to run between here and Sarnia.

The work of rebuilding the tug BECKWITH into a ferry boat is progressing rapidly at Dunford's, and she will probably commence work in about two weeks.

      Port Huron, August 1. -- The new ferry-boat BECKWITH, for service between this port and Sarnia, will commence running tomorrow. She was inspected by our local inspectors today.
