White Fish.--Though the present season has not been a remarkably good one for fishing, there is a greater number of persons engaged in it than at any former one; and, as far as we can learn, a greater quantity of fish will be taken than at any former year. M.B. Campau, at Hog Island, has taken about 1,200 barrels. The fish are worth, at this place, from 4 to 5 dollars the barrel.
