The schooner G.C. COOPER, of Chicago, which went to Europe last fall with a cargo of deals, has been declared unfit for further service at Cadiz, Spain, into which port she was compelled to put, in a demoralized condition, while en route to Cape Town, Africa, with a load of coal.

Wm. F. Higgie, owner schooner C.G. COOPER, which went to Europe last fall, yesterday returned from Spain, where he has been for some time looking after the interests of his craft. She is now in route to Rio De Janeiro with a cargo of salt. He says she was in excellent condition when she sailed from Casiz. Capt. Higgie thinks the country would be all right to visit for pleasure, but it is of no account for business.
