Full Text

We received this week a well written pamphlet printed at Black Rock, containing "Documents relating to the Western termination of the Erie Canal," with remarks, &c. published by direction of the "Black Rock Harbor Company." In regard to the making of Harbors at Black Rock and Buffalo, we have once before expressed our wishes that success might attend all such enterprises. If two harbors can be made at the lower end of Lake Erie, so much the better will it be for the travellers and traders of the upper country.

A newspaper is about to be issued at Black Rock, N.Y. This will be the eleventh newspaper published on the waters of St. Lawrence, above Lake Ontario.
