Pamlico (Schooner), U19615, 22 Jun 1879
- Full Text
A gentleman who has been traveling in the Dominion reports seeing the schooner PAMLICO at Montreal, where she was loading lumber for the River Platte. He said she is looking well, and is evidently in good shape notwithstanding her many rough experiences on the ocean. He also saw the old schooner CITY OF MANITOWOC. She has been thoroughly overhauled and rebuilt and has had her name changed to ANN CECILIA. He understood that she was preparing for an ocean trip, but in what direction he did not learn.
