In the House of Representives [sic], Jan. 10, on motion of Mr. Sibley, it was resolved, "That the Committee on commerce be instructed to enquire into the expediency of erecting a Light-House at the foot of Lake Huron, at or near Fort Gratiot, in the territory of Michigan.
