Mr. Datus Kelly, well known upon the lake as the proprietor of Kelly's or Cunningham's Island, has just launched a small steamer of about 80 tons, for the trade between his Island and this port, and Lower Sandusky. Capt. Daniel Dibble is her builder, a shipwright of the first class, as the present little boat, and the brigs EAGLE and COLUMBIA will testify. Her timbers and deck are of red cedar, procured on the Island. She was towed into harbor by the steamboat TROY, and is lying at Higgins & Co.'s wharf where she will receive her engine from the manufactory of A.A. Camp. Her name is the ISLANDER.
