Hendrik Hudson (Steamboat), 27 Oct 1846

Description
Full Text

Another large and splendid steamboat, the HENDRICK HUDSON, built at Black River, for Capt. G. W. Jones and H. M. Kinne Esq., of this city, made her appearance in our harbor yesterday. She is yet in an unfinished state, and has come here to receive her fixtures and appointments. When completed, she will be equal to any steamer that floats upon the western waters. She is to make one trip to the Upper Lakes this fall, previous to being fitted with an upper cabin, and her adoraments.
