LAUNCH OF A VESSEL AT OSHAWA, FOR OCEAN TRAFFIC. -- By the oshawa Vindicator, we learn that on Saturday, the 8th instant, at Port Oshawa, the Messrs. Farewell launched their new vessel, the ALLIES, as splendid a looking sailing craft as ever skimmed the waters of Lake Ontario. She is intended for both Lake and Ocean trade, and will probably this fall, take a trip to the West Indies or to Liverpool, England. She is a three-masted brig and her dimensions are as follows: 130 feet keel, 26-1\2 feet beam, and 11-1\2 feet deep in the hold. She will carry a burthen of 550 tons. Captain Abraham Farewell is to command her.
