VESSEL SALE. -- The Commercial says the schooner RAPID, of 262 tons burthen custom house measurement, built and launched last season by Van Slyke, Notter & Co., has been sold by Walter Joy to Capt. Gebbard for $12,000. She will go into the Buffalo and Upper Lakes trade, and has been chartered by Billings & Dickinson, for her up trips, to carry lumber from East Saginaw.
