R. Calkins also launched for V. Swain and Captain Baker the schooner FLIGHT. We shall have more to say of her. -- Cleveland Herald.

The schooner FLIGHT, built by Roderick Calkins, has just been launched. She measures in length 114:88 feet; beam 25:21 feet; hold 9:41 feet; and registers 249 and 91:95ths tons. She is owned by Valentine Swain and Captain R. Becker, who will sail her. -- Plaindealer.

      NEW SCHOONER. -- The new and beautiful schooner FLIGHT arrived at this port a few days since from Cleveland -- it being her maiden trip. She was built at Cleveland during the past winter, by R. Calkins, for her owners, V. Swain, Esq., and her commander, Capt. R. H. Becker, and for beauty of model and apparent fleetness, bids fair to become well known on the lakes. Her tonnage is 250 tons measurement, and carries 12,000 bushels wheat. -- Chicago Press, 28th.
