A contract has just been closed by Pickands, Mather & Co., of Cleveland, with the American Shipbuilding Company for a general overhauling and lengthening the schooner CONSTITUTION. The will be cut in two and 72 feet built in her, increasing her carrying capacity about 1,500 tons. The cost will be about $75,000.
