Harbor of Erie.--The board of engineers appointed to examine the harbor of Erie with a view to its improvement, have made a pretty full report upon the subject, to Gen. A. Macomb. The engineers have made two estimates of the probably expense of making the harbor--that made on the supposition that the current will deepen the channel places the expense at $14,887.29--if the channel is to be cleared by dredging, the expense is estimated at $35,200.32.
