The Steamboat CHARLES CARROLL of Sackets. - This beautiful vessel was Launched from the ways into her native element, on Monday last: The Launch was a fine one - the novelty of Launching a vessel, with a Steam Engine in complete operation, was witnessed by a very numerous concourse of people from all parts of the County - and produced the most cheering bursts of applause. The building of this boat reflects great credit on the master
builder and proprietor Mr. Calvin Case. In the progress and completion of this boat, we have been highly gratified with the rapid and splendid progression of the work. it was began and nearly completed in the space of 11 weeks. This Steamer is intended to run as a daily Packet from this Port to Kingston, U.C. - Sackets Harbor Gazette.
