NAMED IN HONOR OF JUDGE THOMAS MURPHY.
Police Justice Murphy and a party of friends assembled yesterday at the shipyard of D. J. Smith, foot of Baker street, to witness the launching of a new canal boat named the "HON. THOMAS MURPHY. In honor of the popular judge. The boat is owned by James E. Conlon, and after the christening was towed to the Steel Plant.
