Frank Smith of Port Huron has sold the tug CHRISTIANSON to the Hackett Wrecking Company of Amherstburg for
use in the wrecking business in Detroit River.

NOTE:-- No tug CHRISTIANSON could be found, it is MORE THAN likely that the tug was the SAMUEL J. CHRISTIAN [ see below]

The old tug PARSONS, which once did service at this port, will soon be discarded. Her machinery is being put into the tug CHRISTIAN by the Hackett Wrecking Company of Detroit, her owners. She is 30 years old.

      The Port Huron Wrecking Co. has succeeded in raising the tug SAMUEL J. CHRISTIAN near the head of Grosse Isle in the Detroit River. It was taken to the lower dock of the Detroit Ship Building Co. where the machinery will be taken out.
