Buffalo, N. Y., Nov. 30 - Herewith is presented a copy of a sample consignment of a cargo of grain from Duluth to Buffalo on the steamer H.S. HOLDEN The cargo was delivered here last week. Although there were ten separate bills of lading, and nine separate consignments in the cargo, the steamer had to deliver at only seven elevators, and that notwithstanding there are two or three more elevators in the harbor that a vessel the size of the HOLDEN could get to.
