The Shipping. -- The prop. PASSAIC, of the Erie Line, has been pretty thoroughly overhauled, and by the end of this week, if the weather continues fair, she will be prepared to go into commission. Her upper deck has been recanvassed, her machinery inspected and improved where necessary, and an entire new dress has been given her. The vessel looks as well as when she first came from the hands of her builders. The PASSAIC is being fitted out under the superintendence of First Officer Stoddard. As previously stated, she will be commanded by Capt. James S. Mitchell.
