Capt. Miles E. Barry of Barry Bros., tug owners of Chicago, is now a member of the city council at that place, and is fortunate in having been appointed chairman of the committee on harbor and bridges. He will certainly be of service to the vessel interests of the city. Mr. Barry says that among vessels in his new tug line at Duluth will be the new Hawgood & Avery tug THOMPSON, two new tugs from Davidson's West Bay city yard, and two tugs that will be taken to Duluth from Chicago.
