Exports and Imports of Michigan.

It would be gratifying to many persons to have some data furnished, by which a probable estimate could be formed, of the exports and imports of this Territory. I send you the following guess, with a view of drawing the public attention to this subject. It is supposed that there has been sent from this territory, the present season,

Furs,$700,000
Fish,20,000
Lumber,7,500
Indian Sugar,3,000
Pot & Pearl Ashes,3,000
$733,500

This estimate is made without any informing from sources that can be depended upon for correctness. It may be too high, or two [sic] low, and I wish some persons, who have better opportunities for ascertaining facts, would publish their opinions.

STATISTICUS.
