Several hundred people were present at Marine City on Thursdayafternoon at the launching of the new steambarge E.P. RECOR built by Alex Anderson for E.C. Recor & Son of St. Clair. The launch was made at 4 o'clock and was in every way successful. The new boat will be used in the coal and lumber trade. She is 133 feet in length with a 30 foot beam. Capt. Sylvester Moore of Algonac will be her master and Charles Schunk Chief Engineer.
